This website is a sort of glossary dedicated to my obsession with asking New Yorkers what fragrance they're wearing, where they got that... even what they're washing their dishes with. Many of these selections were discovered on-set, behind-the-scenes, directly at the request of celebrities or at the request of their directors, producers, agents, or assistants... many in the homes of models, musicians, influencers, and - of course - (albeit, much less glamorously) my anonymous self. This is not a collection inspired by New Yorkers- it's a collection of items being re-purchased by New Yorkers... they're also some ride-or-die products collected in one place for convenience.

You can call me Natalie (but full disclosure: it's a pseudonym). I live on Manhattan and work full-time in the entertainment industry and got my start as a personal assistant/shopper. Save this Pinterest page, I keep no other social media accounts associated with me (and I might've bit off more than I can chew with Pinterest! We'll see!) - this site is my preferred outlet and landing page.

These are handpicked items, thoughtfully selected to elevate your lifestyle with items integral to Manhattan and Brooklyn homes and street-style. I originally created these pages for convenience for my own shopping and gifting for myself and my friends (as if I were my own personal shopper). You're welcome to bookmark the page to check for changes, and click the images which will take you either to stores or a supplier.*

As I fill out The Glossary, you're welcome to leave a tip/recommendation at about.nsheppard@gmail.com - I am obsessed with knowing what you're loving... I love the idea of this list revolving around the streets and homes of NYC so items will only appear if you can verify your connection to the City... then only after I've tried it and would recommend it. Unless an item gets recommended more than 10x from verified New Yorkers, it will appear regardless of whether I've tried it myself (because at that point, I'll use its entry as a reminder, like a shopping-list, because I'm seeing a trend). Please remember, the heart of this glossary is my personal preference... so, if I try it but it's not quite right- regardless of the majority - I will remove items at my discretion. Kindly remember, this glossary is only casually monitored as my full-time work is my priority at this time... but your tips are always welcome no matter how slow I am to respond and patience is appreciated. Brands are welcome to inquire about sending items, but that does not in any way ensure or obligate me to list it... and NDA's may be involved to keep me a secret! Gifts are subject to time, experience, and whether I can verify it's a suitable for a Manhattanite or Brooklynite, respectfully.
