Basic Information:

Qualifications:
#1: United States Citizen;
#2: 18 years old;
#3: Resident of NYS and the county, city or village for at least 30 days BEFORE the election

Where to Register:
In person:
– Your County Board of Elections,
– Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), and
– NYS Agencies [such as Commission for the Blind & Visually Impaired, Department of Social Services; Division of Veterans’ Services; Office for the Aging; Office of Mental Health; Office for People with Developmental Disabilities; ACCES-VR; Workers’ Compensation Board]

By mail:
Download the Voter Registration Form [English | Spanish] and mail to Your County Board of Elections (form must have physical signature, no digital signatures are accepted).

Deadlines:
Federal Primary: April 3, 2020 (Change of Address: April 8, 2020)
NYS Primary: May 29, 2020 (Change of Address: June 3, 2020)
General Election: October 9, 2020 (Change of Address: October 14, 2020)
Party Change: February 14, 2020
